Vessel Medicine (formerly Classical Acupuncture Sydney) is the north shores premier acupuncture and Chinese medicine centre. We provide precise, informed, and extensively researched acupuncture as it was passed through a traditional lineage and texts. That lineage revolves around the clinical exploration, investigation, and application of the Han Dynasty medical treatise the Huangdi Neijing. This text has been the foundation upon which all acupuncture and Chinese medicine has been built over the last two millennia. Our clinic is designed to be a welcoming, safe, and therapeutic environment. Set inside a 100 year old building and adorned with many traditional art pieces that have been collected and gifted to the practice. In addition to acupuncture Dr. White is trained in classical herbal medicine, is a self proclaimed tea monk, and has three decades of qigong / neigong, daoyin, and martial arts practice.

Classical acupuncture, or Neijing acumoxa as David describes it, is a medical tradition that has been developed, harnessed, and mostly unmodified for nearly two thousand years. A typical session will involve in-depth discussion, intake of history, and then application of the required modality. Although this is an acupuncture clinic primarily, other adjunct methods are often used, including cupping, guasha, and herbal medicine. We also have an extensive referral system of therapists, nutritionists, psychologists, general practitioners and medical specialists.
