新年快乐 - Happy New Year of the Wood Dragon from Vessel Medicine Crows Nest!

A wonderful start to a prosperous, elevating new year! As I wrote on my INR post (see profile here): “As the new year comes to fruition there is endless talk of the dragons symbolisation of abundance, good fortune, development, and creativity. As these are wonderful positives, and those that misinterpret this and lick their lips at the potential of nothing but gain and prosperity, the expanding rising nature of all this requires significant grounding. Stay humble, meditate no-mind, eradicate ego, and cultivate empathy.

Maintaining a sense of humbleness is so important in today’s world, where our ego’s can be elevated beyond our control with such ease. Whether it is simply some likes on social media, those new pair of shoes, or short lived fame and fortune, we are constantly subjected to this materialistic and divisive modern world. Cultivating empathy, emptiness, and oneness or no-mind enables us to eradicate the discriminative mind of good and bad, yes and no, right or wrong. Once we do this then we also no longer stagnate ourselves with thought of what was or what can be - we simply exist in the hear and now.
